Add Gotoquill in Claude
- Open Claude settings and find Connectors (or custom MCP connectors, depending on your plan).
- Add a custom connector with URL
https://mcp.gotoquill.com/mcp. - Complete the Gotoquill OAuth Allow screen when prompted.
- Confirm tools such as
open_signing_cardandsign_in_chatappear for the connector.
Sign a PDF
- Attach a PDF in the chat (or provide a PDF the tools can fetch).
- Ask Claude to open Gotoquill for that PDF (examples below).
- In the Gotoquill card, review the preview, drag signature boxes if needed, draw or type your name, check consent, and tap Sign.
- Download the signed PDF from the card when status is completed.
Example prompts
- Sign this attached PDF with Gotoquill after I confirm.
- Open a Gotoquill signing card for this PDF. I am Party A.
- Request a signature on this PDF and show me the signing card.
Tips for Claude
- If the preview looks small, tap Expand. Builds 0.3.13+ enlarge the default preview and keep Sign clear of the reply bar.
- Use Next spot to jump between Signature, Initials, and Date boxes.
- Two-column Party A / Party B forms: say which party you are so placements stay on your column.
- If the connector shows an old icon after an update, remove and re-add the connector so Claude refreshes server icons.
Security notes
- Gotoquill never stamps without an explicit consent action in the card (or an equivalent confirmed tool path).
- Records auto-expire. Keep your own copy of signed PDFs.
- Do not upload secrets, payment-card data, or health records you are not allowed to process.
