By using Gotoquill Cloud you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Not legal advice; no warranty of enforceability
Gotoquill Cloud is a software tool that helps a human review a document and apply a signature image / typed name with recorded consent metadata.
It is not a law firm, not a notary, and not legal advice. Whether a signed PDF meets ESIGN, eIDAS, Israeli electronic signature law, or any other regime is your responsibility. We make no warranty that outputs are legally binding, admissible, or sufficient for your use case. Consult a qualified lawyer for high-stakes documents.
2. Human confirmation required
Signing requires a human to open the signing UI or sealed link and explicitly consent. You must not use the service to forge signatures, impersonate others, create fake identity documents, or falsify records. Automated “sign without human review” for high-stakes legal acts is prohibited.
3. You are responsible for your documents
You represent that you have the right to process each document and personal data you submit, and that use complies with applicable law and third-party terms (including OpenAI App Developer Terms and Usage Policies when used inside ChatGPT).
4. Acceptable use
No: malware; child sexual abuse material; phishing; fraud; document forgery; uploading PCI card data or PHI; attempting to break tenant isolation; reselling the service as a deceptive “official” government/bank signing portal.
5. Ephemeral processing
Cloud is designed not to archive documents long-term. Short TTLs apply. You must keep your own copies of signed outputs. We may delete data earlier for abuse or operational reasons.
6. Accounts and access
Access is via OAuth through the chat host. Reviewer/test accounts must not use MFA that blocks OpenAI review. You are responsible for activity under your connection.
7. Intellectual property
Local gotoquill open-source components remain under Apache License 2.0. The Cloud service, name, and listing assets are operated by Shay Levi. Feedback may be used to improve the service without obligation.
8. Third-party services
Chat hosts, DNS, hosting, and relays are third parties under their own terms. Outages or policy changes there are outside our control.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAY LEVI’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (currently the directory listing is expected to be free — so often $100).
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for legal enforceability of any signature.
Some jurisdictions disallow certain limitations; in that case limits apply to the fullest extent allowed. OpenAI’s liability to you is governed by OpenAI’s terms, not these.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Shay Levi against claims arising from your documents, your misuse, your violation of law or these Terms, or third-party rights — except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, legal risk, or platform requirements. OpenAI may remove the plugin at any time under App Developer Terms.
13. Governing law

14. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted.
